1. What is the difference between Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts?

While many martial arts emphasize striking or forms, Jiu Jitsu focuses on controlling an opponent through leverage, positioning, and submissions—making it effective regardless of size or strength. There is no punching or kicking in Jiu Jitsu.

2. Do you only offer monthly memberships?

Yes, all of our memberships are monthly-based, allowing unlimited visits within the membership you choose.

3. What should I bring with me to class?

Make sure to bring a water bottle and a positive and welcoming attitude.

4. Are there dress code requirements?

No body/hair/face jewelry allowed. Hair must be pulled back and tied. No footwear or socks on mats. Gi/NoGi clothing must be clean with no holes or tears. Personal cleanliness must be maintained at all times.

5. How long are your classes?

Youth Class is 45 minutes, Gi & NoGi classes are 60 minutes and Striking Class is 45 minutes.

6. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept debit, credit and ACH.

7. What facility amenities are offered?

We have gender-specific restrooms, a walk-in shower, an infant changing table, a sitting area, and a play area for toddlers to promote a comfortable and learning atmosphere.

8. Can I stay and watch while my child is in class?

While we encourage parents to support their children during class and stay, we ask that they refrain from coaching their child during class time, keep their phone conversations outside, and keep their inside conversations to a minimum.
